ATPL has developed an Optical Tracking Computer Interface (OTCI) which is capable of delivering exact view orientation(6 DOF)with a barely discernable latency.
Our fully immersive award winning virtual reality system, called VR22-18, uses head tracking to deliver the VR simulation.
The product uses software to determine the users head orientation from a video stream, taking full advantage of increases in hardware speed as they occur.
We offer movement measurement granulation of single pixels delivered to the user with an average lag time from movement to visual feedback of <27 milliseconds in a totally wireless environment.
Currently ATPL is preparing for the implementation of a four user pod employing the full VR22-18 system at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park viewing a VRML world. Please see below some screenshots of the VRML world developed for the upcoming implementation |
